YMCA Sailing Club of Canberra membership is valid for one year,
from 1 July to 30 June each year. The Sailing season begins in the later part
of September and continues through to late April.
It is possible to join the sailing club at any time, with membership fees varying
according to the time of joining. The fees are listed on the membership form.
Membership Forms can be returned to: The YMCA Sailing Club Of
Canberra, PO Box 6059, Kingston, ACT 2604 or handed in directly to the club
at Alexandrina Drive Yarralumla Bay.
Benefits of Club Membership include:
" Directed and supervised sailing with attendant rescue craft crewed by
individuals trained in the rescue of sailing craft.
" Social interaction with members having a like interest.
" Use of Club Facilities including hire of
training boats and boatshed space.
" Automatic membership of the organisation: Yachting
Australia and Yachting
ACT, which allows members to take part in any national or state regatta.
